$20 COMMUNITY BIKES

When you go to Community Donation Bike Programme:

To apply for a $20 (Koha if recipient can afford it) bike applicants are invited to request by fax, phone or complete an online application as to why their members need bikes. Bikes are allocated on a needs criteria and available stock.

EARN A BIKE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Individual members of the public can earn a free bike by working for a minimum of 20 hours in our workshop restoring unwanted bikes.

Volunteers are invited to request by fax, phone or complete an online application and arrange for a time to come into our workshop to work along side experienced volunteers.

Our last makeover with Housing NZ in Porirua this young lad was given a bike.

Currently the trust has sourced it volunteers from Volunteer Wellington/Porirua, cycling groups, the Probation Service, the NZ Police and the general public who have either heard about the trusts activities, received a recycled bike, donated an unwanted bike or cycling equipment.
