Providing a Business Rental Programme

It is our pleasure to introduce this new and exciting transportation resource that will give your staff and customers the choice of cycling in and around your region while at the same time contributing to your conservation values.

The Business rental Programme is managed by the New Zealand Green Bike Trust in partnership with Vision Marketing and is designed to provide local business and selected tourism outlets with an incentive to on-sell and promote cycling as a safe and low cost transport option for their customers and staff.

Here’s how it works

New Zealand Green Bike Trust will supply the following goods and services under a 24 month rental contract.

Eight new road/mountain bikes and twelve helmets (various sizes)

Warranty and service agreement

All bikes will be serviced at programmed intervals via our mobile workshop or service contractor at no extra cost. Any hirers experiencing a mechanical failure only have to call the 0800 green bike number and their faulty bike will be repaired on-site or replaced within 24 hours. This service will be available during normal working hours. After hours call outs may incur a small service charge.

Insurance

All bikes are covered by a comprehensive insurance policy against theft and damage. If a bike and/or equipment hired are damaged or require salvage because of an accident the hirer shall advise the Trust of the circumstances and the bike and/or equipment will be replaced as soon as possible. The hirer shall not arrange or undertake any repairs or salvage without the authority of the Trust except to the extent where the repairs or salvage are necessary to prevent further damage or injury.

Monthly rental bike charges

Pay $486.66 per month (Standard charges). An on-line booking form is available to reduce admin charges.
